1. Vice Admiral Atul Anand took over as Additional Secretary, Department of Military Affairs on 3 July, 2023.
2. In a significant stride towards achieving self-reliance in navigation applications and services, Elena Geo Systems, a Bengaluru-based firm, has unveiled the country’s first hand-held navigation device based on the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (NavIC).
3. Sri Lankan Captain Chamari Athapaththu has been rewarded for her superb recent form by becoming the new No. 1 ranked batter on the latest ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings.
